The Raven

The Raven is a new wireless controller designed for the Playstation 3 but modeled after the more user-friendly X-box controller.

Raven is super easy to grip and it really allows the player to keep control over hand movements.
With a slight added weight, the Raven also feels more substantial in your hands than Sony’s controller and yet costs nearly half the price.
Hitting stores this month.

The winter edition of the Converse shoe

It’s the first of September. The air is getting colder and it’s time to put away those sailor shoes and shorts. One of our favourite shoe brands are also taking the leap into autumn with these hi-top Duffel Coat trainers in beige and brown, and we’ve got to get our hands on a pair asap.

Modern viking

The label Moods of Norway are mainly known for their check suits and tractor prints. We’re feeling this blue suit with pink shorts and sailor shoes that we saw at Oslo Fashion Week last week. If all vikings look like this it might be time to step up the game here in the UK as well.

Knight Life

It seems it is impossible to tire of Missouri-born Jeremy Scott‘s futuristic and iconic fashion designs.  Consistently ahead of his game and with a more than impressive CV of A-List clientele, Scott’s unconventional designs are a continually relevant fashion reoccurrence both on and off the catwalk and within what is seemingly every new theme  of each Season’s trend.

The above images are extracts from Scott’s previous ‘Knight Life’ collection, yet are still refreshingly un-dated creations for this Autumn/Winter (…if perhaps a little chilly for such!)  Always culturally and iconically relevant, Scott’s designs are both modern and yet timeless; somewhat of a rare paradox within the realms of fashion.

Scott is the (lucky) man responsible for dressing Britney in her almost cyber-esque airline outfit for her Toxic video, and is also the favourited designer of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry amongst several other impressive names.  If he’s good enough for Gaga then he’s good enough for us!

Vik Muniz

Since 1990 Vik Muniz has been creating and  photographing portraits and landscapes using a variety of unusual materials. He often uses household items such as chocolate, wire, cotton, rubbish and sugar to recreate images from memory, the ephemeral nature of Muniz’s work means that it can only be experienced through the images he chooses to display.
